New! Self-Guided Walking Tour of Valle Vista Terrace Historic District

The University Heights Historical Society is pleased to offer new members a free printed copy of our new self-guided walking tour of the Valle Vista Terrace Historic District. This new district was approved by the City of San Diego Historic Resources Board in 2018 and consists of 61 contributing and 28 non-contributing homes, representing a variety of popular architectural styles from the early 20th century.

Our tour highlights 10 homes on Panorama Drive and Cliff Street in the new district. You can can get some exercise and learn more about our historic community while social distancing!

Your support helps us to continue our efforts to preserve our community's significant heritage. The University Heights Historical Society was established in 1997 by the University Heights Community Development Corporation, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, to preserve the architectural, cultural, and historic resources in University Heights through research, education, and advocacy.
